Freezing Madrid

Coral is one of my favorite color when it comes to accessory. Even if it is a very summery color I like to use it even in this period of the year to enrich the outfit and make it a bit brighter. It has been so cold lately that I'm really craving for warmer times! Today my outfit is really warm given the freezing temperature. What I love the most about it is the sweater with the zebra print (a gift from my colleagues) and the coral purse, designed by one of my best friend in Italy. The name her brand is Valuel and I'm in love with bags and wallets.

Il corallo è uno dei miei colori preferiti quando si tratta degli accessori. Anche se è un tono abbastanza estivo a me piace molto usarlo anche in questo periodo e abbinarlo a un outfit per arricchirlo e renderlo più luminoso. Ha fatto così freddo ultimamente che ho davvero voglia di temperature un pó più umane! L'outfit di oggi è super caldo: quello che mi piace di più sono sicuramente il maglione zebrato (regalo delle mie colleghe) e la pochette corallo realizzata da una delle mie migliori amiche. Il nome del suo marchio è Valuel e io sono innamorata delle sue borse e portafogli. Tutto è fatto in Italia con pelli eccezionali, è semplicemente fantastico. Tiger!

Here we go..as I promised yesterday here comes the post about one of my favourite shop in Madrid. Its name is Tiger and I first discovered it when I was in London. Surprise surprise it is not a clothes shop but you can find everything in it for your place, from kitchen to bathroom. I love this kind of shops and the best thing about Tiger is that you can find everything you need and the price is so cheap..5 euro I think is the highest! Yesterday I bought two jewellery holders which I really needed since all my bracelets and earings were stored in a tiny box on my desk. Not ideal. This is how all my braceletes and earings look now..I'm telling you much better than before! Still I have some issues regarding my necklaces...as you can see from the pic but I ll be working on it too! Tell me what you think! How do you keep al your jewellery? XX

Come promesso ieri ecco qua il post riguardo a uno dei miei negozi preferiti qui a Madrid. Si tratta di Tiger e in realtà io l'ho scoperto per la prima volta a Londra. Sorprendentemente non è un negozio di vestiti ma potete trovare praticamente tutto quello di cui avete bisogno per la casa, dal bagno alla cucina! Adoro questo genere di negozi e la cosa migliore di Tiger è che si puó trovare di tutto a prezzi bassissimi. Penso che il prezzo più alto che ho visto siano 5 euro! Ieri ho comprato due portagioie di cui avevo davvero bisogno visto che tutte le mie cianfrusaglie erano ammassate in una scatola sulla mia scrivania. Decisamente non la migliore soluzione. Quindi ecco qui bracciali e orecchini ordinatissimi! Ho ancora qualche problema con le collane da come potete vedere ma ci lavorerò su! Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate!  Voi come tenete i vostri gioielli??? Xx

Sunday...relaxing sunday!

I love Sundays..(when I don't have to work!) It's the perfect day to relax and do all the stuff you plan of doing the rest of the week while working. Today me and Jesús took a stroll through Fuencarral, one of the most famous street of Madrid for its bars and shops. The weather was so nice yet freezing and we found a really nice bar where we enjoyed a warm cup of coffee.

My outfit is as usual very simple. I love this style with just a nice fully buttoned shirt and a jumper (guess that my staying in London helped a lot). Skinny jeans, ankle boots and a shiny necklace just complete the whole look.  We went also to one of my fav shops but I will talk about it in the next post! Enjoy your week!

Adoro la domenica...quando non mi tocca lavorare! É il giorno perfetto per rillassarsi e fare tutte quelle cose che si hanno progettato per tutta la settimana. Oggi io e Jesús siamo stati in giro per Fuencarral, una delle vie piú famose di Madrid per i suoi bar e negozi. Il tempo era stupendo anche se gelido e abbiamo scoperto un bar davvero carino dove berci un bel caffé caldo.
Il mio outfit é come sempre molto semplice. Mi piace moltissimo questo stile con camicia abbottonata fino al collo e maglioncino (suppongo che la permanenza a Londra abbia leggermente influito). Per completare il look basta aggiungere un paio di skinny jeans, stivaletti e una collana luccicante! Siamo anche stati in uno dei miei negozi preferiti ma ve ne parlerò nel prossimo post! The weather here in Madrid is driving me insane...if I thought the weather in London was unpredictable I can say exactly the same here..this morning when I woke up the sky was grey and foggy and all of a sudden the afternoon went super hot and sunny..not that I complain..It is just confusing! And it also explains the reason that some photos are inside my building and the last one is outside..

Anyway.. the outfit I'm wearing is really simple and comfy..that's what I always try to recreate..wearing something fashionable but that you can wear feeling a 100% comfortable..from here you can start seeing two of my biggest passions when it comes to fashion..leopard print and studs. I thought that with time I would get bored of them since they are basically omnipresent but at the end of the day just can't resist wearing them ;-)

Il tempo qui a Madrid mi sta facendo impazzire..se pensavo che quello di Londra fosse imprevedibile, qui posso dire esattamente la stessa cosa. Mi son svegliata questa mattina con un cielo grigio e nebbioso e tutto ad un tratto il pomeriggio é diventato caldo e soleggiato..non che mi lamenti ma mi sta leggermente confondendo!!! Questa è anche la ragione per cui alcune foto sono all'interno del mio palazzo e la ultima è fuori.

Comunque veniamo all'outfit di oggi...io lo definirei semplice e comodo. Questo è quello che cerco di ricreare..vestirsi alla moda senza sentirsi incomodi o a disagio. Da questo post si cominciano a intravedere due mie grandi passioni: la stampa leopardata e le borchie. Pensavo che dopo un pò di tempo mi avrebbero stancato a forza di vederle dappertutto..ma alla fine non posso fare a meno di loro :-D

Sporty Saturday

Last Saturday me and my boyfriend spent the afternoom taking a nice stroll through las calles (streets) of Madrid. We were feeling really like wearing a comfy outfit and this was the result! I take advantage of this post to say a huge thanks to my bf. Without him and his patience I couldn't do any of this :-)...and for u all..I swear in the next post I won't wear sunglasses ;-)

Sabato scorso io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo trascorso il pomeriggio facendo una passeggiata per Madrid. Volevamo stare comodi e questo é il risultato! I'm finally doing it!

Hi Guys, I'm Elisa and it's been a while (years actually O_o) since I wanted to open my own blog. I am Italian, 24 years old and after having spent almost a year and a half in London, I now live in the beautiful spanish capital, Madrid.

I know it doesn't sound very original but I love fashion..as simple as that..and I think that having a blog is the best way to express your style, your taste, to everyone who share the same passion. Said so, I finally decided to open mine and start this new adventure =)

 For your sake I have to say that I'm not very good at writing but I'll try my best to keep you interested =)

Ciao ragazzi! Mi chiamo Elisa ed è da un po' di tempo (anni in realtà O_o) che avevo intenzione di aprire un blog tutto mio. Vengo da Modena, e dopo aver trascorso quasi un anno e mezzo a Londra, adesso vivo nella bellissima Madrid. So che non è molto originale ma amo la moda..e penso davvero che avere un blog sia la miglior maniera di esprimere il proprio stile, i propri gusti con chiunque condivida la stessa passione. Detto ciò ho finalmente deciso di aprire il mio e iniziare questa nuova avventura.
